Whistleblowers under Obama

An interview and article here asks "Why Is Tim DeChristopher Going to Jail While Massey Energy's CEO Walks Free?" DeChristopher is a whistle blower that exposed an illegal fossil fuel land grab in Utah. Massey's CEO destroyed illegally a whole mountain range, bragged about having over 17,000 safety violations, and was responsible for the deaths of 29 miners. He also blew up mountains and left toxic sludge to destroy rivers and communities while retiring with several million dollars.

In addition to DeChristopher why is Obama prosecuting Manning and Drake to name three? Why has prosecution of whistleblowers gone up under Obama?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who produced the film, "The Last Mountain" says that we are once again on the verge of losing our democracy to corporate power and instead of surrendering the achievements of the Progressive Era, activists need to fight.

Upside down

Justice is upside down. Obama stands up there and addresses the press about Khaddafi slaying innocents when Obama's in command of an army that "accidentally" does that every day. The hypocrisy is so thick lately that people are starting to see it as the norm, which is very dangerous. That's why I'm so anxious for a primary contender to Obama. These are hard questions that nobody seems to want to ask. They shouldn't be able to just throw anyone in jail and throw away the key, expecting us to forget about them. What kind of a country are we living in? He shouldn't get away with shredding our constitution and bill of rights for his "Stratego" game (by Milton Bradley :). I think they should take back his Peace prize just for the whistelblowing hypocrisy. Going on and on about how they would be protected and then doing the exact opposite. Saying they "don't look back" but using our justice dept. to protect Gonzales, Yoo and Bybee. Disgusting.

Obama DOJ gives whistle blower DeChristopher Jail

Obama's Department of Justice prosecuted whistle blower DeChristopher for revealing and spoiling the illegal fossil fuel land grab and he was recently sentenced to two years in jail. The criminals behind the illegal land grab were not prosecuted. They were not even investigated.

For those of you who worship Obama and want to blame this on republicans, Obama completely controls the executive department which includes the Department of Justice. Bush never prosecuted whistle blowers like this. Obama is no longer even the lesser of two evils. He is the greater of two evils.
